In this article questions related to Hong's idealized experiments negating Einstein's assertion that gravity can be eliminated in a cabin falling freely in a homogeneous gravitational field are discussed.
Keywords: Einstein's equivalence principle, local uniform gravitational field, idealized experiments of a free‐falling cabin, curved space‐time, general relativity
