The fundamental constants of thermodynamics, including Boltzmann's constant, Avogadro's number, and the fine structure constant, remain to date empirical. In this paper, the derivations of these fundamental constants and the equations of thermodynamics are explored. It is found that the constants of thermodynamics are related to the constancy of the speed of light and Planck's constant. Such findings result in greater mathematical insights into the relationship between the constants of thermodynamics and the fundamental constants of Nature as a whole.
