Formulation of physical fields from systems of first order linear partial differential equations

We present a heuristic approach to formulate physical fields from systems of first order linear partial differential equations by considering the symmetric and antisymmetric properties of the matrices that represent the systems of equations. Particularly, we show that Maxwell and Dirac fields can be established by imposing different types of symmetric and antisymmetric conditions on their associated representing matrices
Nous présentons une approche heuristique de la formulation des champs physiques à partir de systèmes d’équations aux dérivées partielles linéaires du premier ordre en considérant les propriétés symétriques et antisymétriques des matrices qui représentent les systèmes d’équations. En particulier, nous montrons que les champs de Maxwell et de Dirac peuvent être établis en imposant différents types de conditions symétriques et antisymétriques sur leurs matrices associées.
